Short Film: Ayu



Based on story by Fazrin Affendi, Ayu is set during the actual 1964 Racial Riots. The film is about the life of a young Malay girl, controlled by strict Malay traditions.
Ayu is in love with Ah Hup, a local Chinese boy but fears the wrath of her narrow-minded family until one day when all her courage are mustered to do what she has to do.

This film is made as a part of The Puttnam School of Film's Studio Group Project 2009.

    This has gotta be the weirdest trailer i have ever seen eh? Song doesn't fit the film appropriately?
